OUR MISSION

Making the world 'better' through design that emphasises sustainability and social impact.

Our mission is carried out by our local community of future-proof design students, researchers, teachers and other changemakers by means of design assignments and (international) research projects that center around sustainability and social innovation and focus on circular, inclusive and service design. Our design knowledge and innovative tools are shared through our Faydherbe Academy, a platform that offers workshops, trips and other events in which students, alumni and practitioners challenge each other to discover the designer and future changemaker in themselves.

How can we collaborate?

In general, ID&A is interested to be a part of the conversation on shaping more sustainable and inclusive ways of living together. More specifically, by sharing research insights and design output, by testing sustainable design toolkits, by showing student design projects and by creating new cases together with other partners.

We also aim to find new partners to apply for funding and lend our expertise on circular, service and inclusive design as well as participate in co-creation sessions. Lastly, we want to expand our international network through which we exchange design students, teachers and researchers.
